City of Montreal issued a boil water advisory for cities on Montreal's West Island. According to a spokesperson, the advisory affects about 200 homes in Dollard-des-Harmont, Dorval, Pointe-Claire in the borough of Saint-Laurent. Officials say they're doing maintenance on the water system and residents need to boil their water for at least a minute before consuming it or brushing their teeth. An elderly man has died after being struck by a vehicle over the weekend. Montreal police said on Saturday A 71-year-old was hit just before 7.30. The 59-year-old driver was not injured, but police say he was in shock. Police are appealing to witnesses. All the casualties are piling up after the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran over the weekend. The surprise attack killed Iran's supreme leader, along with more than 200 others. Now Iran retaliated, killing three U.S. service members and causing civilian casualties, and is now reportedly firing missiles at Israel and Arab states. A Montreal couple, meanwhile, currently stuck in Qatar after Iran launched missiles towards the country in retaliation for the U.S.'s real attack. The couple, whose flight yesterday was canceled, is hoping to fly out this morning, but they've not been able to reach Qatar Airways. They've apparently even registered with Global Affairs Canada and said nobody's reached out to them. And a major celestial event happens this time tomorrow, a total lunar eclipse.
