The dollar 72.32 cents U.S. I'm Stacey Englehart. The city of Longueuil issued a shelter in place notice to residents last night because of a fire in the Saint-Hubert borough. The fire started just after four and barrels storing metals in an industrial building not far from the eco center and smoke is posing a problem. Residents are being asked to stay inside, close their windows and doors and turn off their air exchangers until further notice. For the first time in four years, St. Denis Street in Montreal's Cartier-Latin will stay open to traffic this summer and some business owners are not happy about it. City of Montreal said ongoing construction around the metro station made it necessary to keep the corridor accessible to emergency vehicles. Despite the decision, some summer programming along the street will continue. Canada's trade minister met with provincial and territorial counterparts this week to talk about the evolving North American trade environment and the upcoming CUSMA review. A U.S. trade representative said tariffs on Canada and Mexico will remain despite the trade pact. And the Montreal Victoire celebrated their PWHL championship with a ceremony at Montreal City Hall. Players yesterday signed the city's Golden Book while fans gathered outside to greet the team and get their autographs. The Victoire became the first Canadian team to win the PWHL championship after defeating Ottawa last week. A parade is set for Saturday in Montreal.
